National Museum of Indonesian Culture Faces

This time, the exploration of the history of the archipelago rests in the National Museum. The existence of the museum which is also internationally known, it is not separated from the role of a research association Bataviaasch Genootschap van Kunsten en Wetenschappen, who founded the Dutch Government, 24 April 1778.
This group is an independent agency created with the aim to promote research in the field of arts and sciences, especially in the fields of biological sciences, physics, archeology, literature, ethnology and history, and to publish research results.

The National Museum is located at Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat No. 12, Central Jakarta. In the old building there Ethnographic exhibition space, space Bronze, Prehistory, Ceramics, Textiles, Numismatic, Historical Relics, stone statue, and space treasures.
Entering the old building of ancient Roman architecture, visitors are treated to views of statues scattered throughout the room and corridors. PeninggaIan is none other archaeological objects of Indonesian culture results, taken from the 5th century to 15th century AD. Second floor, Science, Technology and Economics. Then, third floor, Social Organization and Settlement Patterns. Then, fourth floor, repertoire and Ceramics.
The museum was opened on Tuesday-Friday, from 8:00 pm until 16:00 pm and Saturday-Sunday, from 08:00 until 17:00 o'clock. The National Museum is closed to the public on Mondays and national holidays or religious.
To treasure Gold Room closed one hour before the museum closing time. Admission, adults USD 750. Children under the age of 17 years and the learners USD 250. A value of tickets is very cheap compared to the knowledge that would be obtained there.
